How do I create option in my youtube video that plays next video from my playlist randomly

I want to create several YouTube videos into a playlist, and have an option at the end of a video that says 'Next' or 'Try Again' and the next video played is a random video from that same playlist, or other playlist I created. Most simple examples this would be good for is, rolling a dice, flipping a coin, or magic 8 ball concept.

This would require the insert of some kind of configurable scripting option between each video play, I could host an RNG API myself and create a YouTube 'card' URL that redirects a user to a random video in my predefined playlist, but I am concerned about YouTube cross domain policy, or other possible policy YouTube has which says 'it's not allowed', So, can I host this configurable scripting option myself that acts as a middle layer between my video plays, or does YouTube already offer this ability and I just haven't found it yet.
