Create a list of random symbols, pick a few, then write them?

I am currently using the Console application, and after playing Fallout 4, I thought it would be fun to do something towards the hacking minigame thats in there, mostly for experience since I feel like I can learn a bunch of things just working on that.

Currently I am looking at creating a list, and somehow insert a bunch of random symbols in there (possibly tell what those strings can contain, then loop that a few times? That would probably put them in the same order, though), then take its content and write out the result, which then could look like the list I have given as example below. It may seem as a weird task, but if anyones got any directions to what I can do here that'd be appreciated!
