Random pixel selection in Photoshop

I'm doing a project where I need to randomly select a portion of the pixels on an image in photoshop. I need to be able to input the percentage of pixels that I want to be selected. I know nothing about writing code, I have Adobe extended scripts and am eager to figure this out!
