compiler not recognising random and randomize function in c++

friends, I am typing a code in c++ to generate random numbers by using random() and randomize() functions. but all the times my compiler says that this function is not declared. I am using header file stdlib.h I also have tried (random) header file. but always getting the same problem. please help me.
