Is there a way to generate floats in numpy Poisson distribution in python?

I was trying to make a random data set with numpy.random.poisson(), but it could only generate integers but I am looking for making a float set with this Poisson properties, is it possible to make something like that? Or is it even possible to give limits to this type of random sets?
