citation parsing with svm or conditional random filed

i have study citation parsing for my thesis and i want do with svm and crf. i need amount accuracy svm and crf for thesis. pleas help my to find appropriate algorithm or other solution.I've worked with rapidminer, but it was useless and matlab is hard.
