How can I choose a randomSelect item from accumulate/collect in Drools rule?

What i need something similar to randomSelect Accumulate Function discussed http://blog.athico.com/2009/06/how-to-implement-accumulate-functions.html. Is there any straight forward method that is available [similar to random() in java] that I can use to randomly select an object from accumulate/collect in Drools rules? I couldn't find anything as such from the documentation apart from the blog (which is 8 years old!). I am using Drools 6.5.0 Final.
