generate gaussian number, c programming

I am not expert in math. I am writing a program where a have to use two random numbers: the first number has to be a uniform random number that I have succeded to generate; the other one has to be a gaussian random number. The functions that I found generate only float or double numbers in the range of [-2,1]... But what I want is big int number. It will be nice if I find here some ideas about that. thank you
