How do i stop cycling view controllers when a button is pressed 5-10 times

Im making a program that randomly selects view controllers and I would like to program it to go to another view controller when it reaches 5-10 view controllers depending on what the user wanted to see. please help. here's my code. I'm sure this sounded wonky... Thank you very much in advance. I'd like to communicate with whoever helps to full understand. What the storyboard looks like.
