In Matlab randn()
is used to get numbers which follow a Gaussian Distribution. I think Matlab uses a pseudo random number generator to obtain these values. Does randn()
use discrete in time system to give the numbers? This question arises because if I want to obtain N
numbers I simplycall randn(1,N)
which gives real valued numbers, but there is no information if the time is discrete or not. CAn somebody please provide any information on this? Thank you

Does `randn()` use a continous system to generate random number in Matlab?
