Generate a random dependent binary variable python

So basically i have a dataframe made up of 8 independant variables, some continuous normally distributed and some follow the Binomial distribution. I need to generate a random Binary dependent variable (0 or 1) that is positively correlated with some of the independent variables (ones of my choosing) because so far what i managed to do is to generate a response variable that is non correlated to any of the independent variables but for my purposes this wont do.
