Tryinig to build value randomizer with user selected parameters in VBA

Hello I am new to programming in VBA so please bear that in mind if my question seems pedestrian.

I am trying to build a song randomizer based on given parameters (e.g. BPM, genre, etc.) which the user determines using check box form controls in Excel. How would I go about coding that into the controls. I think there should be some Button press using another form control to generate the value. From the large bank of songs I have inputted in my sheet, each option button would have to sort through and select only songs with those desired values.
