How to randomly sort information in a file

I have a list of questions in a file all on different lines. I want to to randomly sort them and display to the screen. The code has to be simple so I can understand, as I am new to using files, and so I can teach others. Is it possible to randomly sort them in the file and then bring them into the program to display and if so how so? If that isn't possible any other ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
