Fill Screen with Randomly Placed images every X Seconds

I want to film (with screen capture) a sequence where the screen fills with randomly placed images every two seconds until the screen is filled with hundreds of images.

Any ideas how to achieve this with jquery placing random images every 2 secs inside an element fitted to full screen width?
